Refunds and Cancellations

Scope

This policy covers paid consulting consultations offered by Service Riverbase: Schema Assessment, Query Performance Review, and Database Refactoring Engagement. It does not cover product sales, physical goods, subscriptions, or training courses, which we do not sell.

Eligibility

Refund requests are considered when you cancel before agreed work begins, or when we cancel an engagement we cannot staff. Once diagnosis or delivery work has started, refunds may be partial or unavailable depending on completed stages.

Timeframe to request

Submit refund or cancellation requests in writing to info@service-riverbase.click within 14 days of the event that triggers the request (for example, a cancelled kickoff or a missed start date caused by us).

Full and partial refunds

• Full refund: Available if you cancel at least 7 days before the scheduled kickoff and no intake workshop or document review has begun.
• Partial refund: If work has started, we invoice for completed stages (intake, diagnosis, delivered scripts or reports) and refund the unused remainder of prepaid fees.
• No refund: Fees for completed deliverables, consumed consultant days, and non-refundable third-party costs we disclosed in advance.

Non-refundable items

Deposits may be non-refundable once migration scripting has begun under a flagship engagement, except where Thai law requires otherwise or where we cancel the engagement.

Process

1. Email info@service-riverbase.click with your company name, engagement reference, and reason.
2. We confirm received work status within five business days.
3. Approved refunds are processed to the original payment method within 14 business days of approval.

Cancellation and rescheduling

You may reschedule a kickoff once without fee if you give at least 5 business days’ notice. Later changes may incur a rescheduling fee equal to one consultant day at the then-current day rate. We may reschedule for illness or force majeure and will offer a new window without penalty.

Deposits and no-shows

Deposits secure start dates. Missing a scheduled workshop without 48 hours’ notice may forfeit the deposit for that session. Remaining prepaid balances stay available for a rescheduled date within 60 days unless otherwise agreed.

Work already started

If diagnosis documents or draft migrations have been delivered, those stages are payable even if you pause the engagement. Unused later stages can be refunded under the partial refund rules above.
