Origin

Service Riverbase started when a handful of Bangkok engineers kept being asked the same favor: sit with a production schema that had outlived its first product name and help the team change it without a weekend fire. The practice kept that narrow focus—programming consulting for database refactoring and query performance—rather than becoming a general software house.

How we work with clients

We prefer rooms where the people who write queries and the people who own deadlines sit together. Sessions mix whiteboard naming debates with explain-plan reading. Recommendations stay written, reversible, and owned by your staff after we leave.

Relationship to Thailand

Our office sits in Bangkok, and many engagements are with teams shipping products for Thai customers as well as regional platforms. When travel helps—especially during cutovers—we come on-site; otherwise we work remotely across time zones that fit Thailand business hours.
